A new year!

Time to start posting, gang!

Here's a chance to write about books you love and ask about new books to read.

Ingo

This book is called Ingo by Helen Dunmore. It is an exciting story about a girl named Saphire that unexpectedly takes an advenvure under the sea. She has an older brother named Conor who takes it with her.Their father dissapeared one night and Saphire and Conor are determined to find him. This book was amazing. I loved it so much because she described everything perfectly. While reading some books, I got bored and didn't want to read it, but not this one. I wanted to read it as long as I could. I hope that if you read this book you love it as much as I did. Happy reading!

Here we go!

This begins the testing phase of our new blog project. We'll get started with adults. Teachers, librarians and parents can experiment with it to see just how it will work. Feel free to write in and begin a discussion on the blog project itself, questions you might have, ideas on how to best use the blog format and, of course, suggest books!
We'll figure this out as we go, so don't hesitate to join in!
One great use of this blog is to spread the word about places to find helpful book lists. I found good books for boys on GuysRead by John Scieszka and every book list you'll ever need on Novelist (through the Minuteman Library Network).
Eventually, we'll get the kids writing to each other about the books they really liked reading. This is going to be fun!
